Duea Planning is wedding planning software for the couple holding the wedding — not a planner for hire, and not a website builder first.

You run guests, RSVP (a QR and link that update who’s coming), budget, vendors, day-of, and destination travel from app.dueaplanning.com. Use it yourself, or invite your hired planner to work beside you in the same wedding.

Every wedding includes RSVP. A guest website, then the guest app, are paid add-ons when you want them — both for your guests. Guest website ≠ RSVP ≠ guest app.

Hired planners also have studio tools on Desk. Couples never see that word in the product.

No. Essentials includes RSVP — a shareable link and QR on rsvp.dueaplanning.com. Guests reply online; attendance, meals, and dietary stay with your list. You seat from those replies.

A guest website is a paid add-on for story pages you can customize for guests. It links to the same RSVP URL — it does not replace included RSVP. Unpublished sites can look empty until you publish.

In your wedding, open Guests → RSVP. You’ll get a shareable link on rsvp.dueaplanning.com and a QR for invitations. That’s included with Essentials — not a separate plan, and not the same as a guest website.

Use Duea yourself, or invite your partner and the planner you already hired into the same wedding. Duea is the tool. Your planner is still your planner.

If you plan weddings for clients, the studio side is separate: for planners.

Yes. Invite your partner into the same wedding. You share the list, the replies, and the day — not a second copy in a spreadsheet.

No. Guests RSVP from a link or a QR. No download.

The guest app is optional, and only after they say yes. It’s for polls, the schedule, day-of updates, and the full destination guide — useful on a weekend away.

The phone app is still in development. It isn’t in the App Store or Play. Guests can’t download Duea to reply today. If you want the guest app, it’s turned on with you.

Yes — same This wedding, different depth. Onboarding asks destination vs local (whether Travel is open) separately from single-day vs multi-day.

Local — Travel is hidden or simplified. You still get guests, Base RSVP, budget, vendors, and day-of. A local wedding can be one ceremony day plus extras (rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks as mini RSVPs) or a weekend in town with a multi-day schedule — without lodging inventory unless people are actually traveling. Destination — arrivals, lodging inventory, collections (Venmo or mark paid), hotel recs, and a destination guide live with the guest list. That’s the extra toolkit. See destination weddings.

Hired to plan? Desk is for studios.

Yes. Couples hold This wedding. Hired planners work from Desk (planner HQ, route /desk, rail: Studio). Each client is a File — same hubs as the couple, different house. Couples never see Desk.

Guest-facing credit is Planned by {studio}. Helpers and vendors use Jobs, not a second Desk. A public vendor page is a Lookbook.

Studio onboarding is opening in stages. Desk, for the studio — or join the studio waitlist.

Yes. Add households by hand, or import Excel or CSV.

RSVP replies update that list. You don’t keep a second sheet for who’s coming, meals, or dietary notes.

You, your partner, and anyone you invite into the wedding — a hired planner or a helper. Guests only see their own reply, not the rest of the list. They don’t look up someone else’s seat.

Vendor links can share what that vendor needs (timeline, headcount, dietary) without opening the whole wedding.
